The Power of Strategic Leadership:
Using the New Tools of Strategic Planning
June 1, 2018 - 10am-3pm
Sheraton Portsmouth Harborside Hotel

The strategic planning tools and processes that have served us successfully in the past are now incapable of allowing organizations to plan well—the world is changing too fast. Organizations must be nimble and quick. In order to be successful in the long-term, leaders of nonprofit organizations must not only have new tools, but also adopt a new mindset.

Intended for leadership teams (including board members) of LeadingAge member organizations, this session will introduce a series of new tools including:

  • The PESTEL (Political, Economical, Societal, Technological, Environmental, Legal) analysis method which helps organizations better understand the outside influences that must be considered in planning

  • Scenario planning which helps organizations address the quick pace of change and ensure they are not being caught off guard and missing critical opportunities

Overnight accommodations at the Sheraton Portsmouth Harborside Hotel are available at a special rate of $149/night.  Click HERE to reserve your room.

$125 per person - Members
